About the Pine Area
Located just 30 minutes west of Denver on the Hwy 285 Corridor, Pine is a picturesque mountain community with lots to offer both outdoor enthusiasts and history buffs.
A sharp left-hand turn off of scenic U.S. 285 will take visitors six miles down a winding canyon to the lovely riverside village of Pine. On you way to or from a hike, kayak, trip, bike ride, or whatever, make sure you stop at Zoka’s for fine dining. You can even tie your dog up to the wrap around deck with phenomenal views and outdoor dining.
Pine is at an elevation of 6,811 feet, You can find wonderful home settings ranging from rustic tucked away mountain cabins to established covenant controlled neighborhoods on spacious lots with homes valued over over a million dollars.

The South Platte River offers world class fly fishing and kayaking. Hikers and mountain bikers will discover miles of trails in the adjacent Pike National Forest and the Pine Valley Open Space Park.
The Buffalo Creek area just south of Pine offers the best hiking, biking, horseback riding, 4 wheeling and snowmobile trails anywhere in Colorado. You can even hop on the Colorado Trail which runs right through this area. For rock climbing, visit Sphinx Rock which is down a narrow, rock-strewn canyon starting on Hwy. 285 and ending in the village of Pine. This is also home to Pine’s most famed dining and drinking establishment, The Bucksnort Saloon.
